Manual QA Engineer (Billing)
Rock&Apps looking for talented and motivated Manual QA Engineer🚀 If you already have experience as a QA in billing departments, fintech products, or just understand how systems work — we’d love to have you on our team!
This is a new team in our company, but we have big plans for it!
You’ll be one of the first to join, help build processes from scratch, and enjoy fast, smooth growth together with us.

What you’ll do
- Perform functional and regression testing for web applications.
- Analyze and process requirements to ensure complete test coverage.
- Estimate the time required for testing activities.
- Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and other test documentation.
- Prepare defect reports and test summary reports.
- Provide regular and clear updates on testing progress.
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years of experience in manual testing of web applications.
- Experience in testing payment systems.
- Strong understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and SDLC, with the ability to apply them effectively.
- Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation.
- Knowledge of functional testing (acceptance, regression, etc.) and non-functional testing (performance, usability).
- Hands-on experience with API testing.
- Familiarity with JIRA or other Test Management Tools.
- Experience working with MySQL and MongoDB.
Extra points if you have
- Experience testing integrations with payment systems (Stripe, PayPal, etc.), including positive/negative scenarios and edge cases
- Understanding of subscription models and recurring payments: trials, auto-renewals, cancellations, billing events (renewal, cancellation, failure)
- Experience testing Webhook scenarios: tracking triggers, verifying data, and interactions between services
- QA skills in custom-built CRMs / admin panels: testing UI + backend logic (e.g., bonus accrual, balance updates, order statuses)
- Understanding of the user lifecycle in a billing system
- Experience with test automation tools (a plus, but not mandatory)
