We are looking for a Back-End Engineer with strong TypeScript experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring solid backend engineering skills, experience with data-intensive applications, and curiosity to push the boundaries of AI integration (agents, retrieval-augmented generation, fine-tuning).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services in TypeScript (Node.js)
• Architect and implement secure APIs for front-end and client integrations
• Work on AI-related features such as:
• Agents for automating workflows
• RAG pipelines for knowledge retrieval
• Model fine-tuning & orchestration for domain-specific tasks
• Optimize data processing pipelines for performance and reliability
• Contribute to building services that manage and process presentation-related content (PPTX, slides, templates, visual assets)
• Collaborate with front-end engineers, AI specialists, and product managers to deliver end-to-end features
• Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD, and security

Requirements

• 4–5 years of professional experience in back-end engineering
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and designing efficient data models
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment

Nice-to-Haves (Bonus Points)

• Familiarity with AI frameworks including LangChain
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines
• Exposure to fine-tuning LLMs or integrating foundation models into production systems
• Experience with document parsing
• Experience with Mastra framework
• Prior work with presentation or document-processing systems (e.g., pptx generation, slide parsing, template management)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Background in enterprise SaaS or B2B productivity platforms
