About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (Web) to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance user interfaces across Web, BigScreen, and Mobile platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, driving technical excellence and innovation across cross-platform digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and implementation of React/Next.js applications with a shared codebase, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and top-tier performance.
• Develop and evolve cross-platform strategies for TV and web client applications, ensuring seamless user experience across devices.
• Define and enhance deployment architectures for reliable, automated, and predictable release cycles.
• Provide technical leadership, guide design discussions, and set engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate complex technical ideas and influence product direction.
• Ensure application security and performance, including CORS policy management, WAF configuration, and CDN optimization.
• Build web systems designed to handle high traffic and large-scale workloads efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven track record of solving complex technical challenges and bringing clarity in cross-functional environments.
• 7+ years of experience in React and/or Next.js with TypeScript, with a focus on scalable architecture design.
• Strong expertise in building secure, reliable, and high-performance applications.
• Solid experience integrating and maintaining REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and improve engineering practices.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.
• Experience with headless CMS systems is a strong plus.
