Middle/Senior QA Engineer (Backend)

Description of the project:

High-load project in the telecom industry.

Your qualification:

• 4+ years of experience as a QA engineer with a focus on the backend side;
• Critical thinking and strong requirements analysis skills;
• Quick learning and desire for self-development;
• Strong knowledge and real experience with API testing;
• Experience with performance testing;
• Experience in Linux/UNIX command line;
• Experience with SQL DB and SQL requests;
• NoSQL DB (Redis)
• Experience or understanding of brokerage messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ Artemis);
• Experience in writing test documentation (test plans/test strategy/test cases/bug reports);
• Practical skills with Git;
• Experience with MOCK-SERVER or a similar tool for working with mocks;
• Good automation skills.
   

Knowledge:

• Knowledge TCP, HTTP;
• Understanding of client-server and microservices architectures;
• Confident knowledge of testing methodologies.
   

Tools:

• Postman, IntelliJ IDEA;
• DBEaver;
• Confluence, Jira, Zephyr;
• Gitlab;
• Kibana, Grafana.
   

Language:

• Will be plus Java, TS
   

General:

• Higher technical education or other relevant experience;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment in tight collaboration with a development team;
• Ability to communicate effectively in a team-oriented environment, readiness to learn in the direction of automation;
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, Confluence);
• English is spoken and written at the intermediate level or higher
