Automation QA Engineer (based in Poland)

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer - to join our dynamic team. This role requires hands-on experience testing web applications and web services as well as hands on experience in API(Postman/Rest Assured) testing.

2-3 .NET Engineer 2-3 Python Engineer 1-2 QA Engineer
 

What technologies do we use on our project: 
Selenium (+ Postman, Jmeter)
 

We only consider candidates based in Poland.
 

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Experienced at scripting automated regression tests, using tools such as Selenium WebDriver
• Current/Past experience in JMeter
• Experienced with SQL (inserts, updates, Joins and etc.)
• Experienced with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo
• Familiar with development concepts and formats such as XML, JSON, and scripting languages
• Responsible for all testing activities
• Troubleshoot customer issues
• Evaluate product performance
• Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
• Familiarity with Agile [Scrum]
• Experience in testing non-GUI applications (SQL, Flat Files, XML, and etc.)
• English level - B2
   

Skills that will be a plus:

• Development background is a plus
• Experience with Apache Lucene based search technologies like ElasticSearch and Solr
• Experience with AWS services
• Familiarity with the Property and Casualty Industry is a plus
   

Previous experience preferred: Domain will be financial services, insurance. Domain knowledge will be good to have but not necessary.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop and maintain automated tests for Web, API and backend services using Selenium WebDriver and Postman
• Translate product requirements and manual test cases into automated regression suites
• Perform functional, regression and performance testing, including non-GUI (DB, XML/JSON) validation
• Configure and support QA environments, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bamboo) and test data setup
• Troubleshoot product issues, log defects, and collaborate with developers and product teams
• Actively contribute in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, maintaining QA documentation in JIRA and Confluence
