Senior PLC Programmer to $4800

This is a Remote position. But please note, that on-site presence will be required at our facility in Ulm (Germany), for the project's start and its final handover. The company will cover all travel expenses.

With a strong reputation for excellence, they are currently expanding their team to handle a growing demand. To support this growth, they are looking for an experienced Senior PLC Programmer.
 

Your Tasks:

• Developing, programming, and optimizing of PLC controls according to IEC 61131-3 standard.
• Writing machine code on control platforms like Siemens (TIA Portal).
• Development of motion controls for servo drives, servo motors, and frequency converters.
• Analyzing, diagnosing, and fixing errors in control and drive systems.
• Documentation and creation of technical documents for the solutions you develop.
• 2nd level support for any electro-technical or software-related support issues.

Your Profile:

• A degree in automation technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or something comparable.
• Several years of experience in PLC programming and automation technology.
• In-depth knowledge of electric drive technology, especially in configuring and using servo drives, servo motors, and frequency converters.
• Analytical thinking & problem-solving: you can understand and optimize complex control systems.
• You take ownership & like making decisions: working independently on projects and taking responsibility for the results.
• English B2+
• Willingness to go on business trips sometimes.
• Experience with Siemens S7 and WinCC Flexible / TIA Portal and WinCC Advanced
• Experience with industrial interfaces such as Profibus, Profinet, OPC UA, IO-Link
• Experience in the field of servo drives, frequency converters, and drive technology (Siemens S120, S210, Schneider Electric) is an advantage
