AWS DevOps Engineer

Project:
Our client is a global cloud CX software company focused on contact centers, knowledge management, and business process automation. Their Connected Experience Platform unifies all customer interactions, knowledge, and processes into one environment — powering mission-critical communication systems worldwide.
The project centers around a massive legacy telecom platform, active for over 20 years, that manages large-scale call center operations. It integrates deeply with IP-telephony and telecom services, handling hundreds of millions of customer interactions across industries like retail, finance, telecommunications, and utilities.
We’re looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with telecom expertise to help maintain, optimize, and evolve this high-load, business-critical system.
Tech Stack: AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation, Terraform), Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch, VoIP, SIP, IP Telephony, Telecom APIs.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize AWS infrastructure for the global CX platform.
- Design, implement, and enhance CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
- Ensure high availability and scalability for telecom-integrated services.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance and reliability.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and operational processes.
- Collaborate with developers and telecom domain experts.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering.
- Strong expertise with AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Solid experience with Kubernetes / Docker.
- Proven record with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Experience in monitoring & logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch).
- Background in telecom, VoIP, IP telephony, SIP protocols, call center systems.
- Experience maintaining large-scale, legacy systems with complex integrations.
- Fluent English for cross-border collaboration.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with VoIP platforms (Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, etc.).
- Knowledge of Oracle / PostgreSQL / NoSQL databases.
- AWS certifications (DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect).
- Familiarity with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd).
- Understanding of telecom standards (SS7, SIP, IMS, WebRTC).
