About the project:
We are developing an electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) tailored for the medical industry. The platform will support document control, compliance workflows, audit trails, and reporting — ensuring regulatory adherence.
This is a PART-TIME role where you’ll not just write code but also define architecture, set best practices, and lay the foundation for future scalability. Perfect for a senior engineer who thrives in a startup/MVP environment and enjoys solving complex, meaningful challenges.
Who We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in software development (focus on Node.js)
- Confident with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB)
- Experience in clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, containerized deployments
- Strong grasp of CI/CD, testing, and code review best practices
- Knowledge of data security (especially in healthcare/regulated domains)
- Ownership mindset, problem-solving, clear communication
- English: Upper-Intermediate or higher
- Thrives in a startup/MVP environment with evolving requirements
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with QMS systems (CAPA, document workflows, e-signatures)
- Work in regulated industries (healthcare, medtech, pharma) + frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, 21 CFR Part 11)
- AI/cloud integration (Amazon Bedrock or similar)
- Strong React knowledge
Your Role & Impact
- Develop core MVP features (Node.js + React)
- Architect and implement scalable, secure solutions
- Build and integrate REST/GraphQL APIs + design databases
- Set up authentication, RBAC, audit trails
- Ensure traceability & compliance with medical standards
- Collaborate with BA, QA, UX/UI for fast, iterative delivery
- Establish CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, AWS deployment
- Document decisions & maintain clean, reliable code
