Overview

We are looking for a seasonedEngineering Productivity Manager who thrives at the intersection of technical excellence and developer productivity. You will coach and elevate a team of engineers working with the Microsoft stack (C#, .NET, Azure, MSSQL), guiding them on how to code faster and better using AI-powered tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and others. This role is ideal for someone who is a great communicator, hands-on with code, and passionate about developer experience (DevEx) at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Mentorship & Coaching Train and upskill software engineers on effective usage of GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and complementary tools within the Microsoft ecosystem. Conduct regular workshops, 1:1s, and pair programming sessions to enhance developer productivity and code quality. Tool Integration & Optimization Drive adoption of AI-assisted coding tools within Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code environments .Evaluate and pilot new productivity tools that align with our Microsoft-first engineering environment. Engineering Excellence Champion Define and evangelize best practices in clean code, SOLID principles, and efficient Azure-native architectures. Promote test automation, performance tuning, and secure coding standards across the team. Workflow Enhancement Identify bottlenecks in the SDLC and propose automation or AI augmentation solutions. Integrate GitHub Copilot into CI/CD pipelines and documentation workflows where relevant. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Engineering Managers, DevOps, and QA to ensure scalable and maintainable code delivery. Work with Product and Design to prototype faster with AI-assisted tooling.

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience with the Microsoft technology stack (C#, .NET Core, Azure, MSSQL)3+ years of experience with using GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI code assistants Strong mentorship or teaching experience—formal or informal Deep understanding of engineering best practices, including CI/CD, testing, observability, and documentation Comfortable writing internal documentation, guides, and code samples Bonus Skills:

Experience with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps Pipelines Knowledge of telemetry and productivity KPIs (e.g., DORA metrics, PR cycle time)Familiarity with ReSharper, Roslyn analyzers, or other static analysis tools
