Backend Payments Enginner to $4500

This role combines both high-load database engineering, advanced algorithms and working at credit card integrations. You’ll take the lead on critical payment flows and work side by side with our product team to deliver a platform ready for the market spotlight. You’ll be responsible for connecting our payment systems to card networks working closely with the product team so everything lands in the market the way it should

What You’ll Do

• Design and maintain database structures that can deal with very large volumes of transactions.
• Work at the integration with credit card providers: authorization, pre-authorization, handling edge cases.
• Plug our Web3 payments and make sure it fits with the backend.
   

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of backend development and large-scale backend architectures.
• Proficiency in Node.js.
• High level understanding of databases, query optimization, and algorithms.
• A serious foundation in math - you’ll need it.
• Understanding of blockchain basics or fintech systems.
• A personal drive to keep learning and pushing until the work actually delivers results.
