Strong Middle Kotlin Multi-Platform Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and self-driven Kotlin Multiplatform Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to cutting-edge fintech and digital asset management platforms. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in building high-performance, cross-platform applications that serve thousands of users and scale to millions of requests.

As part of our team, you’ll collaborate with PMs, BAs, QAs, and engineers across back-end, front-end, and mobile, delivering secure, intuitive, and scalable products.

This position is available both full-time and part-time.
 

Required Skills

• 3–4+ years of experience in mobile application development (cross-platform focus)
• Strong expertise in Kotlin and Android SDK
• Proficiency with Jetpack Compose and/or XML layouts
• Solid understanding of Material Design and Android UI/UX guidelines
• Experience with REST API integrations (GraphQL a plus)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Bitrise, GitHub Actions)
• Hands-on experience with Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Push Notifications)
• Experience integrating third-party SDKs
• Publishing apps to Google Play
• Strong knowledge of unit testing and QA automation
• Performance optimization and profiling expertise
   

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android & iOS applications using Kotlin Multiplatform
• Collaborate with the team to design, build, and ship new features
• Ensure app scalability, security, and high performance
• Implement API integrations and reusable components
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and actively contribute to product improvements
   

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform shared logic (Android/iOS)
• Experience with Node.js, Next.js, SendGrid, HTML/CSS, web services
• Understanding of cross-platform UI/UX principles
• Background in fintech or the crypto industry
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate development
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards (PIPEDA, GDPR, CCPA)
