Manual QA Engineer
Responsibilities
- Conduct manual testing of websites and web applications across desktop and mobile devices.
- Test WordPress/WooCommerce projects, including plugin behavior and theme-based functionality.
- Verify checkout flows, payment integrations (Stripe, Authorize.net, etc.), order statuses, and triggered emails.
- Perform UI/UX testing to ensure developed pages match approved Figma designs.
- Test end-to-end user flows: registration, login, personal account management, membership logic, and booking processes.
- Identify, document, and prioritize bugs and inconsistencies in a clear and organized manner.
- Re-test resolved issues and track their status using tools like Notion or Jira.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers.
Provide suggestions to improve test plans and QA processes.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in manual QA for web projects.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce flows (checkout, cart, order management).
- Experience testing WordPress/WooCommerce projects is a big plus.
- Ability to test across browsers and devices.
- Attention to detail when checking UI/UX against Figma designs.
- Basic understanding of responsive/adaptive design principles.
- Familiarity with bug reporting tools and test documentation.
- Clear communication skills and ability to work in a remote team.
- English: Intermediate+ (able to understand specs, write clear bug reports).
Nice to Have - Experience with email testing (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Zoho, etc.).
- Knowledge of testing checkout with different shipping/payment scenarios.
- Experience in QA for subscription logic, membership platforms, or booking systems.
