Lead Product Designer Offline

Inception-1 is a product company that creates AI-driven B2C products designed to help people feel more connected and less alone. Our mission is to build meaningful digital experiences that blend technology with empathy — and to prove that technology can be both human and transformative.

We’re now looking for a Lead Product Designer to take ownership of design direction and impact across one of our flagship AI products.

This role is a mix of hands-on product design, strategic thinking, and leadership. You will shape user experience end-to-end, influence product decisions, and help scale design practices in a fast-growing AI environment.

What you’ll do:

• Own end-to-end product design for an AI Social Discovery product (web & mobile).
• Define and evolve UX/UI vision aligned with product strategy and brand.
• Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces.
• Improve existing solutions using analytics, user feedback, and A/B test results.
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Marketing to turn ideas into shipped features.
• Drive design decisions based on business goals, user needs, and data.
• Conduct UX research, usability testing, and competitive analysis.
• Mentor designers (or prepare the ground for scaling the design team).
• Mentor and support designers, helping them grow professionally and improve design quality.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding new designers (interviews, portfolio reviews, feedback).
• Set design standards, processes, and best practices for the team.
• Act as a design leader and advocate in roadmap planning and product discussions.

What we are looking for:

• 4+ years of experience in product design, including ownership of complex digital products.
• Experience in a Lead / Senior role with mentoring or team ownership.
• Strong hands-on experience with Figma (mandatory); Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Deep understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and responsive design.
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into clear, scalable design solutions.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineers and product managers.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to give and receive structured feedback.
• Product mindset with a focus on outcomes, not just visuals.

Nice to have:

• Experience building or scaling design teams.
• Hands-on experience with design systems at scale.
• Experience working with analytics tools (Amplitude, GA, Hotjar, Mixpanel).
• Background in AI-driven, growth-focused, or experimental products.
• Experience in high-velocity startup or scale-up environments.
