Electrical Engineer

Our client an early-stage hardtech startup developing high-efficiency power supplies for data centers, based in Colorado and supported by leading scientific and industry organizations.
 

Responsibilities:

• Design (both simulation & hardware) and testing of high-performance, high-frequency power converters.

• Design and conduct validation tests for complex multi-load power supply architectures.

• Participation in design reviews.

• Interface with customer stakeholders to refine system requirements.

Requirements:

• Experience with multi-level PCB design using Altium, Kicad, or equivalent. Understanding of PCB design principles & tradeoffs.

• Experience with power converter simulation, controls, & design. High-frequency design experience is a plus.

• Experience with PCB assembly, hardware debugging, and rework.

• Experience with 3D modeling and mechanical integration would be a plus.

• Advanced control theory knowledge would be a big plus.

• Experience with lab bring-up would be a plus.

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering; PhD is a plus.

• Eagerness to work collaboratively, and to take on additional responsibilities as needed on a small and nimble team.
