Junior .NET Developer

As a Junior .NET Developer, you will contribute to building and maintaining high-quality backend systems and applications. Under the guidance of senior team members, you will enhance your technical skills in .NET development and gain experience in backend architectures and cloud-based systems. You will also start learning how to effectively use AI-assisted development tools to improve your coding, problem-solving, and learning process.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop backend systems using AWS and .NET, ensuring basic code quality and maintainability
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement web applications and backend solutions
• Learn and follow engineering best practices
• Participate in the software development lifecycle under the guidance of senior developers
• Contribute to the implementation of scalable and efficient solutions 
• Begin using AI-powered tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, ChatGPT) to assist with coding, learning new concepts, and generating documentation
• Follow senior developers' guidance on responsible and secure usage of AI tools in daily work

Requirements: 

• 1+ year of experience in .NET development 
• Good knowledge of .NET 8+
• Openness to adopting AI-assisted tools to speed up learning and improve productivity
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL)  
• Understanding of ORMs like Entity Framework or Dapper
• Understanding of AWS entities such as: API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Cloud Watch and other
• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and eagerness to work in an Agile environment
• Willingness to learn and grow under supervision in areas like microservices architecture, scalable software design, etc. 

Nice-to-have Skills & Experience: 

• Curiosity about AI technologies and their application in software development
• Basic understanding of containerization tools like Docker 
• Exposure to testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit)
