Python/React/AWS Full-stack developer for Game analytical platform

We are looking for a skilled Full-stack Developer to join our dynamic team. You'll be building the cutting-edge applications and platforms that bring our data-driven insights to life for players around the world.

The Role

As a Full-stack Developer, you will be a key player in the entire development lifecycle, from concept to deployment. You will design, build, and maintain both the user-facing and server-side components of our applications. Working closely with the CTO, Technical Lead, and data engineers, you will create scalable, responsive, and engaging web applications that serve our passionate gaming community.

Key Responsibilities

• Frontend Development:
  • Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance user interfaces using React.js and its ecosystem.
  • Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable code.
  • Collaborate with designers to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and create a seamless user experience.
• Backend Development:
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable server-side logic and APIs using Python (e.g., Django, Flask).
  • Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic for high performance and responsiveness.
  • Manage and interact with databases (both SQL and NoSQL) to support application features.
• Cloud & DevOps:
  • Deploy, manage, and monitor applications within the AWS ecosystem (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS).
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools like AWS CloudFormation or CDK.
• Collaboration & Quality:
  • Work in an agile, cross-functional team to deliver features and improvements.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Required Qualifications

• Experience:
  • 4-5 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with a major web framework (e.g., Django, Flask).
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and extensive experience with React.js.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing services in the AWS cloud environment.
  • Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB).
  • Solid experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
• General:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Web3/blockchain technologies.
• Previous professional experience in the gaming industry.
• Knowledge of serverless architecture and best practices.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Jest, Cypress).
• An AWS certification is a plus.
