Senior DevOps Infrastructure Engineer (IRC277241)

Description

GlobalLogic is inviting an experienced Senior Data Platform Engineer to join our team and work on a strategic engagement with Cloudera, a global leader in enterprise data management and analytics.
You will be part of a highly skilled international team responsible for building and optimizing large-scale data platforms that power mission-critical business solutions, with a focus on advanced storage, streaming, and governance. This role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge big data technologies and influence how enterprises process, store, and govern their data at scale.
 

Requirements

6+ years of experience as a DevOps or Infrastructure Engineer in big data environments.
Strong hands-on expertise with:

• Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and hybrid deployment strategies
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices

Solid understanding of distributed systems, CI/CD pipelines, and hybrid cloud/on-premises setups.
Experience with big data ecosystem (YARN, HDFS, etc.) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
Proficiency in one of the programming languages: Python, Bash, or Go.
Good knowledge of monitoring, logging, and security in containerized environments.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is required.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in an agile, globally distributed team.
Good spoken and written English (B2+).
