Job Summary
As an Automation QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our cutting-edge Skin Gambling and Casino Platform. Your expertise in identifying, reporting, and tracking bugs, along with your active involvement in the entire software development lifecycle, will directly contribute to the reliability and performance of our products. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team to push the boundaries of what's possible in the iGaming industry.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience in quality assurance, including both manual and automated testing.2+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript-based testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO).Strong proficiency in Vibe Coding for test automation is a must.
- Experience with manual testing tools (BrowserStack, DevTools, Postman, Qase/TestRail).
- Experience with Version Control Systems and CI/CD tools.
- Performance and load testing experience with JMeter, Grafana k6, or similar.
- Strong experience in software testing methodologies and practices. You must understand and be able to discuss testing principles, levels, and test design techniques.
- In-depth understanding of the SDLC and STLC.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and create effective solutions.
- Ability to meticulously review code, specifications, and documentation to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and collaboration with team members.
- Fluency in Ukrainian or Russian and proficiency in English for technical collaboration in a remote/global team setting.
- Ability to work within the CET/EET time zone.
Your Advantage
- Experience with Skin/NFT Gambling or Online Casinos.
- Experience in AI-powered tools that streamline the testing process.
- ISTQB certification.
- Familiarity with various automated testing frameworks and tools, in addition to Playwright.
- Previous experience working in a start-up environment with rapid iteration cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing to identify and document defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement across various platforms and devices.
- Automated Testing: Design Test Automation Frameworks (Playwright/JS) and infrastructure from scratch to ensure consistent quality and efficiency. Create CI/CD pipelines. Promote the use of the Shift Left testing approach.
- Playwright Integration: Utilize Playwright for API, e2e, and UI testing, contributing to seamless testing processes that align with our technological stack.
- Test Plan Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test plans of autotest coverage, including defining objectives, strategies, test cases, and success criteria.
- Bug Reporting: Identify, log, and track bugs and issues, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Performance Testing: Assess system performance and recommend enhancements, ensuring optimal user experience.
- Collaboration with Team: Work closely with the engineering and other stakeholders to align testing with business requirements and project goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry practices and tools, continuously enhancing our testing methodologies to maintain the highest standards of quality.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of testing procedures, results, and any relevant observations, contributing to transparency and knowledge sharing within the team.
