Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Python/AI)

We are looking for Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a dedicated team working on a mission-driven healthcare platform that supports people with cancer through personalized nutrition and lifestyle guidance. The role is focused on re-engineering core backend infrastructure, database optimization, and NLP/RAG pipeline refactoring to enable a major launch in January with 40,000+ users.

Responsibilities:

• Re-factor and optimize the existing PostgreSQL database, including schema redesign, query optimization, and scalability improvements.
• Re-engineer the NLP/RAG engine to ensure faster performance and cost-efficient use of LLMs.
• Refactor core backend services built with Python (Flask, SQLAlchemy) to align with the new architecture.
• Integrate and optimize data flows across AWS (Lambda, EventBridge, RDS), Salesforce, and TypeForm.
• Deliver reliable, maintainable, and well-tested backend and data systems, ensuring readiness for high user load.
• Collaborate with the internal team to align on architecture and technical vision, taking ownership of end-to-end delivery.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus.
• Deep database expertise: schema design, query optimization, and large-scale refactoring.
• Strong Python backend development skills (Flask, REST APIs, SQLAlchemy).
• Hands-on experience with NLP/RAG pipeline optimization (LLM integration, latency, cost optimization).
• Solid knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, RDS, EventBridge, S3, Docker deployments).
• Experience integrating with CRM and third-party APIs (Salesforce, Twilio, TypeForm).
• Strong ownership, accountability, and ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with AI-driven healthcare solutions.
