Exibeat is building a marketplace for discovering and sharing electronic music. Our platform helps DJs, producers, and labels exchange music and connect with each other.

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer / Tech Lead to help finalize the first version of the tool and launch our MVP. This is a part-time contract role (20+ hours/week) or a full-time role based on your availability and agreement with compensation.
 

Compensation

We’re currently pre-funding, so we’re not able to offer salary payments just yet. However:

• From day one, you’ll have the option to receive virtual stock options (VSOP) as part of your package

What You’ll Do

You’ll join our small product team (PO, designer, and junior fullstack dev) and take the lead on technical direction, backend dev and architecture, and MVP development.

• Build the MVP using Next.js (React) and MongoDB
• Help define backend architecture (we’re exploring Nest.js)
• Set up GraphQL/REST APIs
• Work on audio features (track previews, waveform rendering, streaming)
• Integrate Stripe Connect for payments and Amplitude for analytics
• Set up infrastructure, caching (Redis), and deployment (DigitalOcean)

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of full-stack experience
• Strong with JavaScript/TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, and/or Nest.js
• Comfortable with MongoDB, Redis, and cloud platforms (DigitalOcean, Cloudflare)
• Experience with APIs (REST, GraphQL)
• Independent, accountable, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership
