Senior/Lead QA Engineer

About the Project

You will become part of an exciting initiative — The Ministry Management Information System (MMIS).
This centralized web-based platform is designed to transform the work of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth, and Sport, enhancing efficiency at a national scale. MMIS enables:

• seamless data collection and management,
• real-time reporting and analytics,
• process automation across departments,
• integration with external databases (school systems, civil registries, government finance systems).

Your contribution will directly support innovation and digitalization in the education and public sector.

Required skills and experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in functional and non-functional testing (web)
• Upper-Intermediate+ English (all test cases are written in English)
• Participation in the end-to-end software development lifecycle
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in designing effective Test Cases/Checklists for both new and existing product functionality
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar test management tools

Will be a plus:

• Practical usage and knowledge of AI tools

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze project documentation to ensure full understanding of business and technical requirements
• Develop test plans and ensure adequate test coverage
• Execute test cases according to the test and release plans
• Provide clear and structured reporting on testing progress and results
• Search, record, and track software bugs
• Perform regression testing and release testing
• Re-test corrected errors to ensure proper fixes
• Prepare Test Reports at the end of project phases
