Senior Full Stack Engineer
THE ROLE
This role entails working on a new platform that redefines water safety management. The mission is to completely reimagine user flows and application architecture, making them seamless, scalable, and intuitive.
YOU WILL
- Architect, develop, and deploy robust full-stack features across our web (Next.js) and mobile (React Native/Expo) applications, focusing on scalability and user experience.
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js, primarily leveraging Supabase (Database, Auth, Functions) and deploying on Vercel.
- Integrate and manage key third-party services for payments (Stripe), authentication (Clerk/Supabase Auth), notifications (Resend/Courier), CMS (Contentful/Hygraph/Payload), business rules (GoRules), and potentially internal tools (Retool).
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers (using Figma), and other engineers (using Slack, Graphite) to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code across the stack, utilizing testing frameworks (Playwright, Zerostep) and ensuring observability with tools like Sentry and Datadog/Posthog.
- Contribute significantly to architectural decisions, technical strategy, and the evolution of our overall platform.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Expo Application Services (EAS) for automated testing (Browserstack) and deployment.
- Stay current with and leverage modern development tools and methodologies, including AI-powered tools like Cursor.
ABOUT YOU
- 7+ years as a Fullstack Engineer building production-grade web and mobile apps.
- Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React and Next.js.
- Backend experience with REST/GraphQL API design, serverless, and BaaS.
- Hands-on expertise with Supabase or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in deploying and managing applications on modern hosting platforms like Vercel.
- Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL (schema design and query optimization).
- Solid experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Jest/Vitest) and CI/CD practices (GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry, Datadog, Posthog).
- Experience integrating diverse third-party APIs and services (e.g., Stripe, CMS platforms, notification services).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proven track record of contributing to system architecture and design.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to adopt new technologies, including AI-driven dev tools.
- Strong English skills, at least B2 spoken and written.
- Bonus Points: Direct experience with specific tools in our stack like Trigger.dev, GoRules, Clerk, Courier, Zerostep, or specific CMS/BI/Internal tools listed.
