Role Description

We are seeking a highly capable Python Developer to join our engineering team. You will play a key role in building and maintaining applications that power our AI models and digital tools. The role requires strong coding skills, practical problem-solving ability, and excellent documentation practices to ensure scalability, maintainability, and team collaboration.

Responsibility

• Develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications supporting AI models, backend services, and APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code (docstrings, code comments, README).
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices, with clear API documentation (Swagger / OpenAPI or similar).
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate machine learning models into production.
• Optimize code for scalability, speed, and reliability.
• Implement unit tests and participate in peer code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or system issues quickly.
• Contribute to developer documentation and onboarding guides for internal use.
• Participate in architecture discussions and advise on best practices in Python development.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Python Developer (portfolio, GitHub, or project examples required).
• Strong knowledge of Python frameworks (e.g., Flask, FastAPI, Django).
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and backend development.
• Familiarity with Docker and deploying Python applications to production.
• Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Good understanding of software testing, debugging, and version control (Git).
• Demonstrated experience writing technical documentation (API docs, onboarding guides, docstrings).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Bonus: exposure to machine learning workflows or integration of AI models.
