Manual QA Engineer
Dublemint is a growing IT company seeking an experienced Manual QA Engineer to join our team!
Our main project is an online casino platform with its web-based back office (gambling industry). We’re looking for someone who not only tests features, but also thinks critically about product quality, user experience, and long-term maintainability.
✅ You’re a perfect match if you have:
- 2+ years of manual QA experience
- Strong critical thinking skills – you don’t just check if a feature “works”, you assess whether it makes sense for the product and the user. You notice when something looks or feels wrong, even if technically it’s “done”.
- A sharp eye for detail and ability to evaluate user experience and visual quality (UI/UX) — even if you’re not a designer, you can spot misalignment, inconsistencies, or poor usability.
- Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing
- Familiarity with Dev Tools, error logs, and basic API testing
- Ability to identify, document, and clearly communicate issues
- English level: B1+ – you can clearly describe issues and write structured test cases
💡 It’s a plus if you also have:
- Experience with slot platforms (apps, sites), slot games and gambling mechanics
- Experience with version control systems (GIT or similar)
- Knowledge of MySQL or other databases
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum processes
- Experience with automated testing tools
🎯 What you’ll do:
- Perform comprehensive manual testing of web and mobile apps
- Assess product quality beyond functionality – ask:
- Is it user-friendly?
- Does it meet the modern product and UX standards?
- Is it visually consistent and polished?
- Would it make sense to a real user?
- Is it user-friendly?
- Collaborate with developers and managers to report not just bugs, but UX concerns, inconsistencies, and usability issues
- Create and maintain structured test documentation
- Test across devices and browsers
- Ensure alignment with designs and business expectations
- Raise questions and suggest improvements, even outside of strict specs
🎰 Gambling Platform Testing Scope
- UI Testing – Validate the visual quality of the website, app, and back office: is everything clean, aligned, modern, and consistent with the overall design language?
- UX Testing – Assess how intuitive and logical the user journey is — from registration and deposits to navigating the platform, managing settings, reports, and withdrawals.
- Consistency & Integration Testing – Check how new features and changes fit into the existing product — visually, functionally, and contextually. Nothing should feel out of place.
- Cross-Platform & Responsiveness Testing – Ensure smooth performance and proper display across different devices (desktop, mobile browsers, PWA) and screen sizes.
- Bug Reporting & Critical Review – Identify and log bugs, but also go beyond that — spot UX flaws, inconsistencies, or confusing behavior. Be proactive in raising questions and suggesting improvements, even when the feature technically “works.”
📎 Conditions:
- Remote work with flexible hours
- Trial rate: $6/hour, rising to $7.5/hour after trial, paid monthly (option for more frequent payments if needed)
- Minimum 6 productive hours per day, 5 days per week
- Time tracking via Yaware is mandatory
If you’re not just a checker of tasks, but a guardian of product quality, we’d love to hear from you.
Send your CV and let’s build something great together!
