Job Description
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS (services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, ECS, etc.)
- Deep understanding of DevOps practices such as continuous integration, deployment, monitoring, and automation.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.)
- Solid understanding of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes for cloud-native applications.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar) for automation and infrastructure management.
- Ability to design highly available, fault-tolerant systems in the AWS cloud.
- Strong experience in managing AWS security best practices and compliance across cloud infrastructure.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud and DevOps issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with development and operations teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of AWS infrastructure to support scalable, high-performance cloud environments.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment, ensuring efficient and automated workflows.
- Oversee the development and implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices within cloud-based applications and services.
- Drive the adoption of best practices for AWS security, performance optimization, and cost management.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain AWS services and cloud infrastructure, ensuring uptime, availability, and resilience.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them improve their DevOps skills and AWS expertise.
- Stay updated on the latest AWS tools, services, and DevOps trends to ensure the use of innovative and efficient solutions.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, automation of processes, and continuous improvement of DevOps workflows.
