Senior JavaScript Engineer

Requirements

– 3+ years of experience with JavaScript
– Experience with ReactJS/Angular
– Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
– Understanding of front-end technologies, HTML5, and CSS3
– Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful
– Experience with CI tools: Git, Jenkins, Terraform
– Experience with PostgreSQL (or similar)
– Experience with Docker
– Experience working in a Linux environment
– Experience of work on large projects with distributed teams
– Expertise in building software in an agile development environment
– Strong English language verbal and written communication skills
– Experience with Ruby on Rails will be a plus (If no such experience, willingness to learn during project activities)
– Shifted working hours. Be present tilll 9pm EEST timezone

Job responsibilities

– Design, build, test and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
– Integration of data storage solutions
– Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
– Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
– Help maintain code quality, organization and automation
– Collaborate with QA and front-end developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
