Senior DevOps Engineer AWS

We are now looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and lead the launch of our client’s AI-powered data platform on AWS Marketplace. You’ll collaborate with engineers, CTOs, product experts, and AWS specialists in a dynamic but laid-back environment where you can influence technology choices and shape strategic infrastructure.

 

This is a 3+ month contract (with possible extension), flexible working hours (aligned with European time zones), and no 24/7 on-call.

 

We expect you to bring

  • AWS expertise (5–7+ years) with strong hands-on experience across compute, storage, networking, and security
  • Proven experience placing and managing products on AWS Marketplace (mandatory)
  • Solid experience with Kubernetes/EKS (3–5 years), including cluster design, scaling, and troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of Helm, Terraform, CloudFormation, and GitOps workflows
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, observability (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) and Linux/Unix administration
  • Familiarity with databases (RDS, DynamoDB, Redis) and networking concepts (VPC, load balancers, subnets, CDN)
  • Good understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks
  • Strong communication skills in English (B2/C1), ability to work independently and share knowledge with the team

     

What will be your tasks

  • Lead the AWS Marketplace launch of the AI/ML data platform, from product packaging to go-live
  • Build and maintain AMI, container images, and SaaS integration for AWS Marketplace distribution
  • Design, deploy, and manage EKS clusters following best practices for performance, scalability, and security
  • Create and maintain Helm charts and manage Kubernetes application deployments
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux)
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines integrated with AWS and Kubernetes deployments
  • Ensure compliance with AWS Marketplace requirements, security standards, and deployment guidelines
  • Monitor platform performance and implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions
  • Collaborate with development, data science, and product teams to optimize infrastructure and application performance
  • Document infrastructure, deployments, and operational best practices
