Why This Role Exists / Job Description
We are looking for a Brand & Creative Designer to develop our brand identity, creative direction, and visual communication. This role will be responsible for shaping how the dispensary looks, feels, and speaks β across in-store displays, merchandise, digital channels, and marketing campaigns. The designer will work closely with our marketing and retail teams to deliver engaging, consistent, and original creative concepts that elevate our brand experience.
This is not an interior design role β itβs about building the brand world: the visuals, the vibe, and the communication style that make us stand out in the cannabis market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all channels.
- Create design concepts and assets for marketing campaigns, promotions, and events.
- Design materials: posters, menus, product displays, POS graphics, billboards, stands, signs.
- Develop packaging, labels, and merchandise aligned with brand identity.
- Support digital marketing with assets for website, email, and social media.
- Define and execute the brandβs tone of voice and tone of mood in visual form.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure brand storytelling is consistent.
- Experiment with creative formats (motion, animation, photography direction, etc.) to keep the brand fresh and innovative.
Requirements
Must-have:
- 5+ years of experience in graphic design, brand design, or creative direction (portfolio required).
- Experience of working with brands that belong to premium segment.
- Strong understanding of branding, visual identity systems, and design strategy.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar tools.
- Experience creating assets for stores/events/venues
- Ability to translate brand values into a clear and consistent visual language.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in the cannabis, retail, or lifestyle industries.
- Knowledge of packaging design and print production processes.
- Familiarity with motion design, micro-animations, or art direction for photography/video.
- Understanding of marketing funnels, digital content formats, and social-first design.
