Middle Elixir developer to $4000

We are looking for a Middle Elixir Developer with 3+ years of experience and AI expertise to contribute to an AI Governance product

Freshcode https://freshcodeit.jobs/ has been engaged in web and mobile development since 2014. Our team currently has 140+ employees from Ukraine and other countries. We focus on long-term projects (6+ months) with clients from Europe, the USA, and Australia. Our main stack includes JS (React, Vue, Node, React Native), .Net, as well as Clojure and Elixir.

We are passionate about functional programming and are among the few on the Ukrainian and European markets who use and promote Clojure. Freshcode has an internal Clojure Community, where 15 Clojure developers share knowledge and experience. We also sponsor and participate in industry conferences.

Project: A European startup that has been on the market for several years, helping organizations with safe and reliable AI integration into products and business processes. The SaaS platform enables companies not only to manage risks and comply with new regulatory requirements, but also to build policies, standards, and mechanisms for developing, deploying, and further using artificial intelligence.
 

Stack: Elixir, Phoenix, LiveView, PostgreSQL, AWS (ECS, S3, RDS), CI/CD, Git, Terraform, Docker
Team: 3 Developers, Designer, Product Lead
 

Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services with Elixir, Phoenix, and LiveView
– Full feature lifecycle: from idea to production and monitoring
– Participate in architectural decision-making
– Optimize development, deployment, and CI/CD processes
– Collaborate with product lead, designer, and engineering team
– Perform code reviews, provide mentorship, and share knowledge with the team
 

Requirements:
– 3+ years of experience with Elixir and Phoenix
– Proficiency with LiveView
– Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL
– Background in integrating and using AI services/APIs
– Familiarity with AWS (ECS, S3, RDS)
– Skills in setting up CI/CD and managing workflows with Git
– English level: Upper-intermediate or higher
 

Will be a plus:
– Experience with Terraform
