Senior Python Engineer

About the Project:
We’re building a next-generation hotel management and booking system for a UK-based product company. The platform handles complex workflows, integrates with multiple third-party services, and aims to transform how hotels manage operations and reservations.

In your Role as a Senior Python Engineer, you will:

• Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services in Python.
• Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams.
• Design and implement integrations with external APIs.
• Participate in system design reviews and drive technical decisions.

• Ensure application scalability, reliability, and security.

   

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years of proven backend development experience with Python.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, and system architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Django / FastAPI / Flask.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ/Kafka.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud providers (AWS/Azure).
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1), as you’ll work directly with the client.

Nice to Have

• Domain knowledge in travel tech / booking platforms.
• Experience with async programming in Python.
• Solid understanding of performance tuning & security best practices.
