Senior Full Stack Engineer (Backend-Focused)

Ballerine is a high-growth, early-stage startup building an open-source platform for identity verification and risk management tailored for the financial sector. We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend orientation to join our team. As a small, fast-paced startup, we need a proactive and self-motivated individual who thrives in a remote work environment and can deliver independently. This role is ideal for someone who has demonstrated long-term impact in previous positions, possesses excellent communication skills in English, and is dedicated to building something meaningful over the long term with us.

• Remote Work Expertise: Proven track record of effectively managing priorities and delivering high-quality work in a remote, distributed team environment.
• Backend-Driven Full Stack Proficiency: Extensive experience with backend technologies and architectures, with strong skills in full stack development.
• Independence and Ownership: Able to take full ownership of projects, make decisions confidently, and drive them to completion with minimal supervision.
• Collaborative Communication: Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with both technical and non-technical team members.
