Senior QA Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Specialist to strengthen our quality assurance practices, with a primary focus on comprehensive manual testing while building toward automation expansion. This role requires a quality expert who can excel at hands-on testing, contribute to strategic guidelines for manual-to-automation transitions, and advocate for early-stage feature validation through effective cross-functional collaboration.
Manual Testing Excellence
- Comprehensive Testing: Execute thorough manual testing across web applications, user interfaces, and complex business workflows
- Exploratory Testing: Conduct detailed exploratory testing to identify edge cases, usability issues, and potential system vulnerabilities
- Test Case Development: Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios for new features and existing functionality
- Regression Testing: Perform systematic regression testing to ensure stability across software releases
Quality Process Improvement
- Manual-to-Automation Strategy: Analyze current manual testing processes and provide actionable guidelines for transitioning repetitive tests to automation
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current testing workflows and propose improvements to maximize testing coverage while reducing manual effort
- Early Validation Advocacy: Collaborate with product and design teams during early feature planning stages to validate concepts and identify potential testing challenges before development begins
Technical Skills
- Manual Testing Expertise: 4+ years of experience in comprehensive manual testing with strong attention to detail and systematic approach
- Web Application Testing: Proficient in testing modern web applications, browser compatibility, and user interface validation
- Test Documentation: Experience creating detailed test plans, test cases, and defect reports
- Microsoft 365 Knowledge: Understanding of M365 services (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Platform) is highly valued
- Playwright (.NET) Skills: Experience with Playwright automation framework using .NET is a significant advantage
Communication & Collaboration
- English Proficiency: Very good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Confident Communication: Comfortable speaking up in meetings, challenging assumptions, and sharing quality concerns with all team members
- Cross-team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with Product Manager, developers, designer, and other stakeholders
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 4-5 years in software quality assurance with strong manual testing background
- Experience with SaaS products and enterprise software testing
- Background in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple testing priorities
