QA Engineer (Web Platform, Dutch product company) Offline

Required Skills

• 2.5+ years of commercial experience in software testing
• Advanced knowledge of testing theory and methodologies
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
• Proficiency in creating and managing test cases, checklists, and bug reports
• Hands-on experience testing web applications
• Familiarity with testing tools (JIRA, TestRail, Qase)
• English: Intermediate to Upper-Intermediate (spoken and written)
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Experience in requirements analysis and early QA involvement

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
• Develop and maintain test documentation (checklists, test cases, test plans)
• Participate in refinement, sprint planning, and requirements analysis
• Validate and prioritize bugs, support release testing in 2-week release cycles
• Propose and implement improvements to the testing process
• Mentor junior QA team members and share best practices
