Sales Manager / Closer (IT, Upwork) to $1200

If you have experience in IT sales, eager to develop yourself in the IT field, we invite you to join the Python Automation Masters team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Introductory calls with clients (Upwork, LinkedIn)
  • Qualifying clients using BANT 
  • Project estimation with the development team
  • Preparing proposals and presentations
  • Handing over projects to the Delivery team
  • Meeting sales targets and KPI
  • This is not a leadgen role!

 

Soft skills:

  • Persistence – ability to push through and close, even when the client hesitates.
  • Active listening – able to truly listen and ask clarifying questions.
  • Confidence – speaks calmly about money, doesn’t “flinch” at the numbers.
  • Structured communication – keeps answers short, clear, and to the point.
  • Ownership – takes responsibility for results, doesn’t shift it onto others.

 

Hard skills (must-have)

  • Experience with Upwork or similar platforms. 
  • Must have an Upwork account: or be able to create one
  • Understanding of IT services: data scraping, web development, Python, AI.
  • Proven experience in negotiation and closing deals 
  • Basic technical literacy
  • Proficiency in English at Upper Intermediate level (both written and spoken)

Working conditions:

  • KPI from the 1st month - 1 contract
