Junior QA Engineer Manual, 0–2 years

Requirements

• Upper-intermediate level of spoken and written English;
• Basic understanding of testing methodologies and test design techniques, with ability to apply them in practice;
• Analytical mindset and ability to work with large volumes of data and form-driven interfaces;
• Self-learning skills;
• Proactiveness and initiative;

Nice to have:
 

• experience testing applications with dynamic forms, conditional logic, and calculated fields;
  • experience working with API;
  • experience with JIRA as a task management system;
  • basic knowledge of Confluence and Postman;
  • basic understanding of client-server architecture and HTTP;
  • understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
     

Responsibilities

• Test new and existing functionality of web and tablet applications;
• Execute regression test runs;
• Create, update, and maintain test documentation (checklists, test cases, bug reports);
• Analyze user interaction with the system by reviewing session recordings in LogRocket;
• Collaborate with developers and product team to clarify requirements;
• Participate in planning sessions and team meetings.
