Middle Markup Developer

YELK is a web development outsourcing agency that provides scalable digital solutions for SMEs and enterprise clients across the EU and the USA. We specialize in delivering custom web development, design, and AI integration services.

We are looking for a Middle Markup Developer to join our team, that provides development services for medium and large businesses worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Shopify theme development using Liquid, JavaScript, CSS/SASS, and HTML;
• Figma to HTML conversion with pixel-perfect precision and meticulous attention to detail;
• Collaborating with developers and designers to create custom themes, unique features, and engaging eCommerce experiences;
• Contributing ideas to improve eCommerce projects and ensuring technically sound, high-performance digital solutions.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in Shopify theme development (Liquid);
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, REST API;
• Experience with Git or other version control systems;
• Upper-intermediate to advanced English level (for communicating with the team, writing documentation, etc.);
• Strong communication skills (comfortable asking questions and clarifying details);
• Attention to detail (pixel-perfect execution, ability to identify design vs. development mismatches);
• Good organizational skills: ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and estimate timelines;
• Strong logical thinking and ability to see the big picture (not just individual components, but the site as a whole);
• Willingness to adapt, learn, and try new approaches.

Would be a plus:

• GSAP (animation library);
• Good understanding of Figma interface (dev mode, design mode).
