Senior Tester (IOS/Android)

In partnership with one of the global consulting enterprises, on a large-scale digital program for a UK Telecommunication industry client, we are seeking a Senior Tester to join the World Service App team. The role focuses on ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of a global-scale native mobile application, used by diverse audiences worldwide.

Overview

As a Senior Tester in the World Service App team, you will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies for native mobile applications (iOS and Android). The role requires hands-on experience in functional, exploratory, and regression testing, as well as collaboration with developers, designers, and product managers to deliver a seamless user experience. You will act as the quality advocate within the team, ensuring accessibility, usability, and performance standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans for native mobile applications.
• Perform manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing across iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects.
• Test integrations with backend services and APIs to ensure end-to-end functionality.
• Ensure accessibility and usability standards are validated during testing.
• Support release processes, including smoke testing and readiness verification.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, frameworks, and best practices.
• Provide clear, concise defect reports and testing documentation for stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Must have 2–3 years of native mobile app testing (iOS & Android)
• Solid understanding of mobile testing practices & SDLC Proficient in Jira & Confluence
• Strong experience in Agile environments
• Effective team collaboration & communication skills
• Experience using Qase or any similar test management tool
