Software Engineer – CreatorX.ai

About Us
We're CreatorX.ai. We're building a tool that helps people create amazing videos using AI. Our platform can generate entire videos from a simple prompt, pulling from both AI-generated imagery and real-world photos, and publish them directly to YouTube.

We're a small, product-focused team, and now we're looking for our first marketing person to help us grow.

Salary is expected to increase as revenue increases. In addition to the salary, the compensation package will also include equity (company shares). 

What You’ll Do

• Full-stack development: Contribute across backend (Python, Supabase, AWS/Cloudflare) and frontend (Next.js/TypeScript).
• Product ownership: Work end-to-end on features - from idea → design → implementation → deployment → iteration.
• Infrastructure & scale: Help build reliable pipelines for AI model integration, video rendering, logging/monitoring, and performance optimization.

• Experiment & iterate: Prototype new AI-driven workflows, test different user experiences, and optimize based on feedback.

   

What We’re Looking For

• Strong generalist: Comfortable working across backend, frontend, infra, and integrating APIs.
• Startup mindset: Bias for action, scrappy, able to ship fast with limited resources.
• AI + video interest: Experience (or curiosity) with AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini), video generation, or creative tools.
• Technical background:
  • Python (data pipelines, APIs, async processing)
  • TypeScript / React / Next.js
  • Cloud (AWS, Cloudflare, or similar)
  • Databases (Supabase/Postgres)

• Soft skills: Ownership, adaptability, and willingness to “figure it out” without a lot of structure.

   

Nice to Have

• Worked at an early-stage startup or built projects from 0 -> 1.
• Familiarity with video editing/rendering pipelines (FFmpeg, Remotion, Final Cut Pro integrations).
• DevOps experience (Docker, CI/CD, monitoring tools like New Relic/PostHog).
• Interest in YouTube, creator economy, or content automation.
