Full Stack PHP Developer (LAMP / Laravel / Symfony)

We’re looking for a Full stack Developer experienced in the LAMP stack to build, optimize, and maintain high-performance applications. Also have skilled in Laravel Blade integrations to deliver clean, accessible, and maintainable UIs. You’ll work with PHP MVC frameworks, manage raw SQL queries, integrate APIs, and operate in containerized environments.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain backend systems using PHP (Laravel/Symfony) on the LAMP stack
• Write and optimize raw SQL queries for MySQL
• Work in Docker containers (Laravel Sail) with WSL2/Linux
• Integrate RESTful APIs using documentation best practices
• Debug code with xDebug and monitor queries via Laravel Telescope
• Build UIs using Laravel Blade with Livewire and AlpineJS
• Integrate CMS platforms such as Filament or Strapi
• Maintain semantic, standards-compliant HTML/CSS using BEM and Atomic Design
• Use Vite with NPM for asset building and optimization
• Implement designs from Figma and other wireframing tools

Requirements (more=better)

• LAMP stack experience (Linux, MySQL, Apache, PHP)
• Laravel/Symfony experience (PHP MVC frameworks)
• MySQL server experience + SQL language skills (Raw SQL code)
• Experience with docker containers (Laravel Sail)
• Confident using WSL2 (Windows integration / Ubuntu / any Linux distro etc)
• Comprehensive understanding of API integration + how to read documentation
  (RESTful applications)
• Confident using debugging tools (i.e x-debug for code, telescope for queries etc)
• Livewire/AlpineJS experience (Laravel blade integrations of these)
• Experience with CMS integrations (i.e Filament, Strapi)
• Experience using Figma and other wireframe design tools
• Ability to use common frontend methodologies like BEM (block element modifier) and the Atomic Design structure
• Confidence using Vite in conjunction with NPM to build assets
• Ability to produce quality markup that is easy to read and structured well, using semantic elements which also adheres to the W3C standard
• UI/UX design competency

• Experience using Node/Express (JS)
• Experience using deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions, Ansible/Ansistrano)
• Use client/server side front end frameworks like React/Vue
• Experience with animations and custom front end elements/components
