Senior Full Stack Engineer (Python/Node + React)

2-3 days in Office (Germany)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team in Berlin for a 6-month project. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in backend development with Python and/or Node.js, combined with solid experience in building modern frontend applications with React.

You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services using Python or Node.js.
• Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces with React.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
• Ensure code quality, security, and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and technical discussions.
   

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of Python and/or Node.js for backend development.
• Solid experience with React and modern frontend development.
• Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, testing, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills in English; German is a plus.
