Junior QA Engeneer (WordPress projects)

AR Book is a product-based IT company in the EdTech sector with a primary specialization in virtual and augmented reality.

We are looking for an attentive and detail-oriented QA Engineer (Junior+) to help ensure the quality and stability of our WordPress-based websites (we currently manage three)

Your future tasks:

• Perform functional and regression testing of WordPress websites;
• Verify forms, integrations, and user flows;
• Conduct pixel-perfect UI/UX testing to ensure accurate implementation of designs;
• Check Core Web Vitals metrics and ensure sites meet performance and usability standards;
• Test layout and responsiveness across different devices and browsers;
• Report bugs and track issues using a task management system;
• Participate in grooming sessions, planning, and discussing new features;
• Work closely with developers and managers to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in manual web application testing;
• Understanding of QA principles and the software development lifecycle;
• Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing;
• Knowledge of CMS WordPress;
• Ability to write and execute test cases and test plans;
• Experience with tools such as DevTools, Postman.

An Advantage:

• Knowledge of Git (branches, commits, pull requests);
• Ability to write simple SQL queries to validate data;
• Understanding of test automation principles.
