Dutch speaking Python Developer

Join our fast-growing company as a skilled Dutch speaking Python Developer with Dutch C2 and English B2 level language skills. This is a great opportunity for someone who looks for a collaborative environment and has a strong background in developing features such as user forms, account management, billing, integrations.

In this role, you will work closely with the team of up to 8 engineers and business stakeholders to build, release, and continuously improve our product, which is currently at the MVP stage.

Our product is a cutting-edge AI agent ecosystem aimed at automation and improvement of how businesses communicate with their customers. Leveraging the latest advancements in conversational AI and relevant open-source solutions, it enhances user experience, automates processes, personalizes interactions, provides advanced analytics with actionable insights, and reduces costs for companies globally.

It is a remote full-time position.

Schedule: 9am-6PM CET Monday-Friday, but we can discuss it

Your responsibilities will be:

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, develop, and release new features.

● Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable tasks.

● Write and maintain clean, efficient Python code with a focus on user-centric features.

● Build and optimize microservices, APIs, and integration workflows.

● Identify and address system performance, security, and scalability issues.

● Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for development.

● Continuously learn and apply new technologies relevant to AI and backend systems.

You are our perfect candidate if you have:

● 3+ years of professional experience in Python development, including building and maintaining APIs and backend services

● Demonstrated expertise in creating user-centric features

● Strong knowledge of FastAPI, RESTful APIs, and microservices

● Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, and related frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex)

● Proficiency in source control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows

● Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus) and integration of external APIs

● Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

● Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

● Dutch C2 level speaker

● Upper-intermediate command of English

● Self-employment. We will sign a contract with you as with independent businessman;

● Background in developing AI-based solutions for communication, audio/video streaming, or chatbots

● Experience in DevOps, such as managing cloud infrastructure and monitoring tools

● Ability to contribute to business analysis and lead product discovery efforts

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden zijn:

● Samenwerken met cross-functionele teams om nieuwe functies te plannen, ontwikkelen en lanceren.

● Zakelijke vereisten vertalen naar technische specificaties en uitvoerbare taken.

● Schrijven en onderhouden van schone, efficiënte Python-code met de nadruk op gebruikersgerichte functies.

● Bouwen en optimaliseren van microservices, API’s en integratieworkflows.

● Identificeren en oplossen van prestatie-, beveiligings- en schaalbaarheidsproblemen.

● Deelnemen aan code reviews en bijdragen aan best practices voor ontwikkeling.

● Continu nieuwe technologieën leren en toepassen die relevant zijn voor AI en backend-systemen.

Jij bent onze ideale kandidaat als je beschikt over:

● 3+ jaar professionele ervaring in Python-ontwikkeling, inclusief het bouwen en onderhouden van API’s en backend services

● Aantoonbare expertise in het creëren van gebruikersgerichte functies

● Sterke kennis van FastAPI, RESTful API’s en microservices
