Senior Backend Engineer

Position Summary

We are looking for a talented Backend Developer (Node.js) to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend services that power our next-generation platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Node.js, TypeScript, and backend frameworks such as NestJS. Experience with Golang, gRPC, and modern cloud-native technologies will be a significant advantage.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
• Design scalable and maintainable APIs and data models
• Work closely with front-end developers, DevOps, and QA to deliver end-to-end features
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of backend components
• Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with NestJS or similar backend frameworks
• Proficiency in SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Understanding of cloud-based environments
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work on-site 3 days a week (hybrid setup)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Golang
• Knowledge of gRPC and Protocol Buffers
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Exposure to message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Experience with Redis
• ORM tools such as Prisma or TypeORM
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Exposure to Kubernetes
