WordPress Full-Stack Developer

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Full-Stack Developer to join our distributed team and work on challenging projects for international clients.
 

This is a full-time remote position for a developer who can take ownership of complex tasks, decompose them into smaller deliverables, and provide high-quality results.
 

Most of our clients are based in Israel, so previous experience with RTL markup will be a strong advantage.
 

Your responsibilities
— Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
— Build scalable solutions with WooCommerce & marketplace integrations
— Optimize performance and write clean, maintainable code
— Integrate third-party APIs and work with WordPress REST API
— Collaborate with the team on architecture and solution design
— Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
 

Requirements
— 3+ years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer
— Strong knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 (grid, flexbox), building from Figma/analogues
— Proficiency in PHP 5–8, OOP
—Hands-on with MySQL (wpdb, WP_Query)
— Experience with JavaScript (Vanilla, jQuery, Ajax, JSON)
— WooCommerce experience (customization & addons)
— WordPress multilanguage projects experience
— Git (branching, merging, code reviews)
— Solid understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols and browser devtools
— Familiarity with UI frameworks (Tailwind, Semantic UI, Element UI)
— Technical SEO and Google Tools (Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console)
— English — Upper-Intermediate or higher (both spoken & written)
 

Nice to have
— RTL experience (Hebrew projects)
— JavaScript frameworks (Vue/React)
— WordPress LMS plugins (Learndash, Learnpress, WpLMS)
— Knowledge of Linux CLI & server management basics
— Composer, NPM, Webpack, Gulp
— Understanding of SOLID, DRY, KISS principles
— CI/CD pipelines setup
— Experience with video players APIs (Kaltura, YouTube, etc.)
— Knowledge of any foreign language except English will be a huge plus
