DevOps Engineer / Linux Administrator

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with deep knowledge of Linux and Kubernetes to support and develop our infrastructure. The primary focus is ensuring the reliability and scalability of web services and email infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure Management:

• Linux server administration (Debian)
• Deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments
• Configuring and optimizing web servers (Nginx, Apache)

• Monitoring service performance and availability

   

2. Web Infrastructure:

• Setting up load balancing and high availability
• Managing SSL certificates and HTTPS configuration
• Web application performance optimization
• CDN and caching configuration

• DNS records and domain name management

   

3. Email Infrastructure:

• Deploying and maintaining mail servers (Postfix, Dovecot, Exim)
• Configuring SPF, DKIM, DMARC for spam protection
• Monitoring mail server reputation
• Managing mail queues and troubleshooting delivery issues

• Setting up anti-spam filters and antivirus protection

   

4. DevOps Practices:

• Deployment automation through CI/CD (GitLab CI, Jenkins,)
• Writing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (Ansible)
• Application containerization (Docker, Docker Compose)

• Developing Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments

   

Requirements

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of Linux administration experience
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production
• Strong proficiency in Docker and containerization principles
• Experience with Nginx/Apache web servers
• Knowledge of network protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS
• Experience writing bash/python scripts for automation

• Experience with php CMS/Frameworks

   

Preferred Skills:

• Experience configuring mail servers (Postfix)
• Knowledge of monitoring systems (Grafana, ELK Stack, Zabbix)
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, OVH)
• Understanding of GitOps principles
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis)

• Understanding of information security fundamentals
