Our Customer is one of the biggest companies on the market of home entertainment consumer electronics devices that strives to provide their clients with high-quality products and services.

Project goals include creation, updates and maintainance of configurations for environments. Working with Continuous Integration to resolve development and QA teams’ needs for new firmware releases; creating tools and reports to help other teams perform better and get data and summaries more easily.

Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who possesses exemplary technical skills, is passionate, pays attention to every detail, and is not afraid to take on a challenging task. In this role, employees are expected to be self-driven, willing, and capable of taking full ownership of features and projects and leading them to successful completion. Members of the team are expected to work collaboratively with software engineers, quality assurance, product managers, and programmers to accommodate shifting requirements and schedules.

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of work experience in a DevOps role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong experience with Python, Bash, and Shell scripting
  • Proficiency with the use of continuous integration, build infrastructure and configuration management tools (GitLab, Jenkins, TeamCity, Puppet, Ansible, Docker)
  • Hands-on experience working with Linux-based/C/C++ systems
  • Experience developing tools to improve software quality
  • Previous experience with Non-Functional Testing (Performance Testing, Stress Testing)
  • Data analysis and visualization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Expert-level debugging skills to reproduce isolate, and root cause issues using a variety of hands-on testing techniques
  • A self-directed professional able to work independently

     

Job responsibilities

• Set up and maintain CI/CD using GitLab with Python/Bash scripting

• Familiar with KPI and Metrics analysis tools like Grafana

• Provide feedback on the automated tests written by other members of the team

• Creating clear and concise guidelines, procedures, and reports

• Utilize test logs, KPIs, and failure analysis to, identify and fix issues
