DevOps Engineer - AI Cloud Platform

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and help build, maintain, and optimize our cloud platform infrastructure. This role will focus on implementing modern DevOps and GitOps practices, automating infrastructure deployments, and creating scalable, cost-effective systems using AWS services. You'll work closely with our development teams to streamline deployment workflows and integrate specialized AI services like Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker into our CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and AWS services
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using AWS CDK for Python
• Establish GitOps workflows for infrastructure and application deployments
• Configure multi-account AWS architectures with proper security controls and governance
• Implement and manage AWS Cognito-based authorization and authentication (RBAC)
• Integrate AWS AI services (SageMaker, Bedrock) into deployment workflows
• Create model promotion pathways across development, testing, and production environments
• Implement cost optimization strategies and FinOps best practices
• Set up observability solutions for infrastructure, application, and model monitoring
• Maintain security and compliance requirements for all cloud systems

• Design and implement multi-tenant architectures and resource isolation strategies

   

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud architecture
• Strong background in DevOps practices and CI/CD implementation with GitHub Actions
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK (Python preferred)
• Experience implementing GitOps workflows for infrastructure and application deployment
• Experience with deployment patterns (blue-green, canary, A/B testing)
• Knowledge of AWS security best practices and multi-account strategies
• Familiarity with AWS Cognito for authentication and authorization
• Solid understanding of monitoring and observability principles

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)

   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AWS AI services integration in deployment pipelines
• Knowledge of AWS Bedrock Agents and multi-agent architectures
• Experience with SageMaker Model Registry and Model Monitor
• Familiarity with implementing FinOps practices for cloud cost optimization
• Knowledge of implementing tagging strategies, budget alerts, and cost reporting
• Experience with DataOps tools like DVC (Data Version Control) and CML
• Experience with MLOps frameworks such as MLflow and integrating them with CI/CD
• Experience assisting data team members manage AWS Lake Formation and manage data infrastructure
• Background in healthcare cloud infrastructure and compliance requirements

• Experience with event-driven architectures on AWS
