Senior Product Designer
We are seeking a visionary and strategic Product Designer.
A Product Designer is responsible for the entire design process of a product, from initial concept to final production, focusing on both functionality and user experience. They translate user needs and business goals into tangible products, whether physical or digital, ensuring they are user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with the company's brand and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Ideation and Concept Development: Generating innovative product ideas based on market research, user feedback, and business requirements, often using brainstorming and sketching techniques.
- User Research and Analysis: Understanding user needs, behaviors, and pain points through various research methods like user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Prototyping and Testing: Creating prototypes of varying fidelity (from low-fidelity sketches to high-fidelity mockups) to test and refine designs, iterating based on feedback.
- Visual Design and User Interface (UI): Developing the visual aspects of the product, including color palettes, typography, and overall aesthetics, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user interface.
- Interaction Design and User Experience (UX): Designing the way users interact with the product, focusing on ease of use, intuitive navigation, and overall user satisfaction.
- Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with engineers, product managers, marketers, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Ensuring Design Quality and Consistency: Maintaining design standards, brand guidelines, and ensuring a consistent user experience across all product touchpoints.
- Product Optimization: Continuously monitoring product performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement design enhancements.
Requirements:
- Strong Design Skills in Fintech: Proficiency in design principles, visual communication, and user-centered design methodologies, applied to Merchant Portal (dashboards and reporting), as well as Internal Portals (Payment configurations) and especially Merchant deposits and withdrawals flows.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with design software like Figma
- User Experience (UX) Skills: Understanding of Back office payment operations or customer deposit and withdrawal flows.
- Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to effectively communicate design ideas, provide feedback, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and solve complex design challenges, finding creative and effective solutions.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze user data, identify trends, and make data-driven design decisions. Tracking customer behaviour on our Widget to understand points of drop off and work with PMs to improve conversion rate.
- Knowledge of Product Development Process: Understanding the different stages of product development, from ideation to launch.
