Python Developer, Azure Site Reliability / DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong Azure DevOps expertise to join our team working on a cutting-edge Enterprise Knowledge Graph and Large Language Model (LLM) application currently in production. This role will be split approximately 50% Python development and 50% DevOps engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based services and APIs (preferably with FastAPI or similar frameworks)
• Integrate and optimize frameworks for LLMs within the application
• Manage Azure DevOps pipelines, version control, and CI/CD workflows
• Deploy, monitor, and scale applications using containers, and other cloud-native tools
• Ensure application security, logging, and performance monitoring
• Work with databases/vector stores and data pipelines in production environments
• Collaborate with team members to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure enterprise-grade solutions

Hard Requirements

• Fluency in Python, with experience using FastAPI or other REST API frameworks
• Experience with LLM-related frameworks in Python
• Proven DevOps expertise in Azure (version control systems, containers, security, logging)
• Experience with scaling applications in production environments
• Experience managing production databases
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Fluent in English

Soft Requirements (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Common Lisp
• Familiarity with Semantic Graph Databases and related technologies (RDF, OWL, SPARQL, SHACL)
