We’re Jett Develops — a digital product design & development agency working with early-stage startups and fast-growing tech companies. Our clients have raised over $20M with our support, and our work powers products used by teams at Microsoft, Evergrow, and more.

We’re growing — and we’re looking for a New Business Development Manager to take ownership of our lead generation and sales efforts through freelance platforms, with a primary focus on Upwork.

This role is ideal for someone who knows how to navigate client conversations, build relationships remotely, and turn interest into long-term collaboration — all in a professional, friendly, and efficient way.

 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage our presence on Upwork and respond to new opportunities
  • Craft thoughtful, tailored proposals that reflect client needs and our strengths
  • Lead conversations with prospects — via messaging and video calls — to understand their goals and offer the right solutions
  • Collaborate with our team on estimates, proposals, and timelines
  • Guide prospects through every step: discovery, negotiation, closing, and handoff
  • Keep track of your sales activity and insights using our CRM
  • Share what you're learning — client concerns, objections, and trends — to help us sharpen our approach
     

What We're Looking For

  • Strong written and spoken English — you’re comfortable writing proposals and leading video calls
  • Experience selling services remotely, ideally in the tech, SaaS, or digital product space
  • Empathy and confidence — you can build trust quickly and communicate clearly
  • An organized, self-directed approach to managing sales conversations and follow-ups
  • A basic understanding of how web and mobile products are built

 

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience closing deals on Upwork
  • Comfort using tools like Figma, Notion, Slack, CRMs, and proposal software
  • Background in working with digital agencies or B2B services
